Dragos Ilinca is a Data Scientist who focuses on nonintrusive load monitoring (NILM) and nonintrusive appliance load monitoring (NIALM) also known as energy disaggregation. In this work, he analyzes changes in the voltage and current going into a building and deduces what appliances are being used and their individual energy consumption.

Dragos holds a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering and is completing a Master's degree at the Faculty of Automatic Control and Computer Science in Bucharest. His experience includes satellite data processing within the Copernicus programme and software development for airspace design and capacity simulations for Eurocontrol

Outside of work, Dragos enjoys engaging with nonprofit organizations that leverage the tech ecosystem to drive innovation and social impact.
